Worship

Congregation Emeth provides a warm and welcoming environment for sacred spiritual pursuits for people of all ages. Our religious services are conducted in a joyous environment with music and prayers in both Hebrew and English.  Members are invited to participate in services however they’re comfortable. Families are welcome to sit and pray together at all services. We strive to create a feeling of community in which everyone – regardless of experience or background – can find a spiritual home. We encourage participation and involvement of our members in all aspects of synagogue worship.

We offer a variety of Shabbat services, providing a wide range of truly meaningful spiritual experiences and balancing respect for tradition with innovation and creativity. With her engaging sermons and stimulating teachings, Rabbi Dantowitz shows us how the lessons from the past are relevant to our lives today.

When we gather to pray, we are united by the spirit of joy and community.

Shabbat

Shabbat services are held most Friday evenings at 7:00 pm. Approximately once a month, Emeth instead offers a Saturday morning service at 10 am.

Our primary prayerbook is the Mishkan T’Filllah, which includes a mixture of English and Hebrew, for which transliterations are included. Fluency in Hebrew is not necessary or expected. We encourage individuals to make services more meaningful for both themselves and the congregation by participating in reading prayers, singing songs, and other service activities. Children are welcome at all services.

All members and guests are always welcome at any services. If you have never visited Emeth before and would like to attend services we will welcome you warmly. We encourage you to contact membership@emeth.net and we will be sure to have someone looking out for you to greet and introduce you.
